How often should I attend class?

If you are like our regular members, then you will attend as much or as little as you like. It all depends on how you feel and what your goals are. Members who want to really make a difference will usually come to all 3 classes

What gear do I need to participate in the Boxing class?

Everything you will need is sold in our pro-shop with the exception of a towel. These are the items you will need:

We suggest that all your gear be cleaned on a regular basis so it last a long time and to prevent it from smelling really bad and becoming offensive.

Will I be sore?

If you do not normally workout, then yes. By the way that's normal. We have had members who worked out elsewhere and were sore after taking our class. The more you attend, the easier it gets and the less sore you will be.

How much time should I eat before working out?

You should not eat at least 1 1/2 hours before taking our classes. We will push you, in order to get the best out of you.

How do I punch properly?

We will coach you the very first class you attend and make sure that you will hit properly as well of hold the pads correctly to avoid injury. That way your first class will be more enjoyable. As a member you will have access to many of our instructional videos which are available only to members and you can get better at home at your own pace.

How do I know if I am making progress?

Your clothes will fit better and you will feel better as well. We have a FREE fitness analysis program. We can weigh and take your measurements plus we have a fat analysis machine which will tell us your BMI, Fat percentage. We can also suggest a new healthy lifestyle plan for you.

Can I try the other programs?

It's a good idea to give yourself a variety in order to keep you on the right track. Yes, try our other programs, just ask us about them and we can suggest a game plan. Many of our members also take Personal training sessions, Cardio-Kick and Cardio-Kick as well. It's your body, what do you wish to accomplish?

Do you offer Personal Training sessions?

Yes we do. All of our instructors are very skilled at helping our members reach their personal goals. Your training will monitor your progress and devise a plan of action to make sure you stay on track with your goals, whether short term or long term. We also offer 1 trainer and two clients. This means that you and a friend or family member can work out with one trainer at a discounted rate and benefit from working together.

When, where and how often can I do Personal Training sessions with a trainer?

WHEN:

We can schedule Personal Training according to your availability and that of the trainer you choose. Our trainers are very knowledgeable, caring, friendly and very flexible. Your trainer will tailor a specific workout regime to meet your needs. Your trainer can even help you set up training when you are away on business or vacation.

WHERE:

Personal training can be done at our facility or the convenience of your home, office or gym.

HOW OFTEN:

You can do as many one on one sessions as your budget and schedule allow you. Remember your trainer can put together a training regimen that fits your needs. We are open 7 days a week, just stop by the front desk and let us know when you would like to schedule your first session.
